Edit PDF tools

Add page numbers, headers, footers, and watermarks.

Adding things to a PDF that was not built with them. Add page numbers and Add header & footer stamp repeating content into a fixed position on every page — the usual finishing pass on a document assembled from several sources. Watermark PDF comes in two forms: the text version for a word like DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, the image version when the mark is a logo. Overlay PDF is the heavyweight variant, stamping an entire PDF on top of another so letterhead, templates and pre-printed signature pages land in register.

Annotate PDF adds highlights, underlines, sticky notes and freehand marks for review. Whiteout PDF covers a region with a solid white rectangle — fast and visually clean, though the text underneath still exists in the file, so use Redact PDF when the point is that the content must be gone. Bookmarks editor builds the outline tree a reader sees in the sidebar, which is the difference between a 200-page report people can navigate and one they abandon. Embed file attachments carries a spreadsheet, image or document inside the PDF as a real attachment rather than a separate file to lose.

All of these rewrite the document structure directly in your browser, and the original on your disk stays untouched until you save the new version the tool produces.
