Mission
PDFChamp exists to make everyday PDF work fast and private. The web has plenty of PDF tools, but most of them upload your file to a server, lock features behind a paywall, or stamp watermarks on the result. PDFChamp does none of those things.
How it works
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. When you drop a PDF onto a tool, it is parsed, modified, and saved locally on your device. Your file never travels to a server. There is no account, no queue, and no upload progress bar — the conversion completes on your machine and the result is downloaded straight back to you. Because the work happens client-side, the tools also keep working when your connection drops.
In-browser vs. server-side, side by side
The difference is architectural, not a feature list. Because the processing happens where the file already is, a whole class of limitations simply has nothing to attach to. The right-hand column describes how server-side PDF services generally work; individual services differ, so it is hedged rather than absolute.
